Our vendor has advised that they have completed delivery of the data line for this order, however the line has not passed Covad's initial testing. We have sent the order to have a trouble ticket opened to reearch an excessive loop length issue (24,300 ft). An additional update will be provided once that has been done (24-48 hours). We apologize for this additional delay and thank you for choosing Covad.

Also itszer0 and I are now Skywarn trained storm spotters. w00t!

Covad/Speakeasy provides the information on their Total Account Control site. Plus I'm a telco geek. ;-)

hmm, I think I need to get a TDR. That would be way too cool. Then I'd know for sure.

Don't tempt me, I'm supposed to be saving up for an Icom 706 MKIIG ham radio so I have a nice base system for my apartment. :->

I am also interested in Storm Spotting. I saw something about it at the Washtenaw County website.

Oakland County is providing another class on Tuesday 7pm-9pm at Groveland Township Fire Department, Call 248-858-5300 to register.

Of course, that's probably quite a drive from you.

Actually, screw it, here ya go.

That gives all the courses and times in your area. No prerequisites, just call to schedule at the number on the bottom of the page. The instruction is kinda boring, but very informative. They tell you basically "here's the info you need to give us when you call, here's our direct line, here's when to call us, the information that's helpful, etc."

Plus you get a neat skywarn ID number. :->
