Intense Low Pressure Center Will Pass Just North Of Lake Huron This Morning And Continue To Move East Today. Strong Pressure Gradient Around This Low Center Will Create Rather Strong Sustained Winds Today... Which Will Continue Through The Afternoon. Wind Gusts As High As 45 Mph Are Also Expected Today.

Yay, so who wants to place money on us losing electricity during the day today? I'll put money on it. Ugh. There's one thing that bothers me about detroit - none of their shit can handle a windy day. 45 MPH wind gusts were nothing back in the GH area, then I come here and they damn near close the city for a little bit of snow (mostly because noone knows how to drive in snow here) and winds cut power to 90% of metro detroit. Ugh. Survivability, people, ever heard of it?
